I include this short article to bring together a few disparate records that might otherwise not be connected. John appears in his marriage record as John Thornborough but is almost certainly the same as the John Thornber who appears later in the records of Wheatley Lane Inghamites because of the name of his wife Jane and his son Howarth. I have transcribed the registers of Wheatley Lane Inghamite Chapel as detailed on this site.
