Anyone from outside Cheshire viewing this site might form the erroneous opinion that Macclesfield is the largest and most important town in the county. Equally they may come to the conclusion that Cheshire enjoys perpetual fine weather. The truth is that my photographic excursions are more convenient in East Cheshire and I take pictures only on fine days.

Please note that I do not do contract genealogical research.  The information I show on land owning families in Cheshire is taken only
from 19th century county histories.  If you need more information on these families you will need to do your own research.
